UAF will host the Really Free Market Saturday, May 19, in the Patty Center parking lot. People can drop off items for the market from 8 to 10 a.m. The market is open from 10 a.m. to noon. Alexander Bergman, from the Office of Sustainability, helped generate electricity to power computers, charge cell phones and run a light at the Fort Wainwright Earth Day events. The Energy Dorm Competition concluded Monday with the residents of Cutler Apartments winning. Cutler’s energy consumption was reduced by 18.9% with Mcintosh and Lathrop following with a cut of 7% and 6.2%. The competition saved 14,211kWh which represents $2,468.
