Mackey appointed to American Society for Public Administration Board

E. Robert Mackey at the Chukchi Campus in Kotzebue has been appointed to the National Board for Public Administration Education. Mackey’s term is from 2012 through 2014. Student receives first Coverdell Fellowship

UAF awarded Jacqueline Rahm the Peace Corps Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship. Rahm is the first recipient of the fellowship, which is awarded through the the Department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development. Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference success

More than 180 professional and citizen scientists convened at the Bristol Bay Campus in Dillingham last week for the 5th annual Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference. IAC instructor completes Iditarod

Jodi Bailey, Interior-Aleutians Campus instructor of business and technology, recently completed her second Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, finishing in 23rd place with 11 Dew Claw Kennel dogs. Researchers share Alaska Forum award for Aleutian toxin monitoring

The Alaska Forum on the Environment presented its 2012 Outstanding Achievement Award to researchers who led the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP) Project.
