E. Robert Mackey at the Chukchi Campus in Kotzebue has been appointed to the National Board for Public Administration Education. Mackey’s term is from 2012 through 2014. UAF awarded Jacqueline Rahm the Peace Corps Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship. Rahm is the first recipient of the fellowship, which is awarded through the the Department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development. More than 180 professional and citizen scientists convened at the Bristol Bay Campus in Dillingham last week for the 5th annual Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference. Jodi Bailey, Interior-Aleutians Campus instructor of business and technology, recently completed her second Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, finishing in 23rd place with 11 Dew Claw Kennel dogs.
