Technology services outage scheduled for May 20

The Office of Information Technology has scheduled a planned outage May 20 to conduct the annual fire alarm safety test. The 12-hour exercise takes most technology services offline while fire systems are tested, including the UAF website, access to UAOnline and other systems. Technology enhancements at UAF

Changes in technology this fall at UAF will enhance teaching success and provide better access to information for faculty and students. VPN service changes

On June 28 OIT began transitioning to a new VPN service called Cisco AnyConnect. Student develops UAF Courses iPhone app

John Pender, engineering student, won the Office of Information Technology mobile application contest for his UAF Courses application. The application is an iPhone app to help students choose classes for their schedule and get ready to register.
