Culinary arts students serve up Alaska sustainable dinner
UAF CTC Culinary Arts and Hospitality students serve the Asian Style Alaskan Black Cod course as part of the 2012 Scholarship Dinner. The dinner supports students enrolled in the culinary arts and baking programs by providing scholarship support through the UA Foundation. This year featured an Alaska sustainable themed eight-course menu showcasing primarily Alaskan-grown products.

CTC, school district partner to prepare students for jobs
The Community and Technical College and the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District have teamed up on a new project that aims to help students make seamless transitions from high school to post-secondary education and careers. The Borealis Bistro, the student-prepared luncheon service, is open for service Thursdays at the James T. Hutchison High School. CTC Law Enforcement Academy graduation ceremony Nov. 11
