Rural Nutrition Services students, from many rural Alaska communities, joined RNS faculty Desiree Bergeron and Sarah McConnell for a 5K Water Walk and Run. Mackey appointed to American Society for Public Administration Board

E. Robert Mackey at the Chukchi Campus in Kotzebue has been appointed to the National Board for Public Administration Education. Mackey’s term is from 2012 through 2014. Simmons receives Volunteer of the Year Award

Culinary Arts and Hospitality Scholarship Dinner April 28

Students of the Culinary Arts and Hospitality department host the 2012 Scholarship Dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the Hutchison Institute of Technology. Tickets are $100 per person. UAF’s Rural Nutrition Services students enjoyed a meal featuring healthy Alaska Native traditional foods, kicking off a week of student cooking demonstrations February 6 at the Harper Building. Science conference returns to Dillingham March 28 – 30

Kuskokwim Campus travel program class bound for Europe
