Utilidor construction and traffic control update
More construction on the new utilidor to West Ridge is scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 17. The Nenana Parking Lot (across from Patty Center) will be officially closed. Technology services outage scheduled for May 20
The Office of Information Technology has scheduled a planned outage May 20 to conduct the annual fire alarm safety test. The 12-hour exercise takes most technology services offline while fire systems are tested, including the UAF website, access to UAOnline and other systems. Koyukuk/Sheenjek intersection to close
The intersection between Koyukuk Dr. and Sheenjek Dr., on the UAF campus, will close on Monday, May 14. Fairbanks Street bike path to campus rerouted
The bicycle path coming onto campus from Fairbanks Street will be diverted the morning of April 28. Summer construction projects and April 24 open house planned
A number of construction projects planned on campus this summer will affect roads, parking and pedestrian access to buildings. While this season will be an inconvenience, these critical deferred maintenance projects will be addressed. Recycle dumpsters move
The recycle dumpsters, which currently sit in the Nenana parking lot across the road from the Student Rec Center, will be relocated to the Taku parking lot on Friday, April 13. UAF sledding hill closed for season
The sledding hill on the Fairbanks campus is closed for the season. Crews are working in the area to clear snow and trees for the construction of a utilidor to the new Life Sciences Building on West Ridge.
