TCC, UAF collaborate to reduce diesel consumption

Student-designed and built bike generates electricity
Alexander Bergman, from the Office of Sustainability, helped generate electricity to power computers, charge cell phones and run a light at the Fort Wainwright Earth Day events. Cutler residents win energy dorm competition
The Energy Dorm Competition concluded Monday with the residents of Cutler Apartments winning. Cutler’s energy consumption was reduced by 18.9% with Mcintosh and Lathrop following with a cut of 7% and 6.2%. The competition saved 14,211kWh which represents $2,468. UAF student awards breakfast April 28
Dozens of students will be honored at the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ annual student awards breakfast Saturday, April 28 at 9:30 a.m. in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom. New York Life contributes $900,000 to UA
New York Life today announced a three-year, $900,000 gift to the University of Alaska to support educational activities and scholarship programs for disadvantaged students.
